About the Student Success Center

The Laredo College Student Success Center comprises the areas of Academic & Career Advising and Counseling.

Advisors, counselors and staff are committed to encouraging individual growth by assisting students with their academic and career needs. The Student Success Center envisions academic and career development as an essential process and encourages students through its programs and services to develop and implement a plan to achieve their current and future goals.

Academic & Career Advising

The Student Success Center staff will help you to create an academic plan for your future by providing step-by-step assessment interpretation, course selection, academic advisement, and career exploration to first-time students, students with undeclared majors, and students planning to transfer to a four-year institution.

Counseling

Counseling services are available to help students adjust to the demands of higher education while fostering and promoting the intellectual, emotional, social and cultural development of students. By utilizing a variety of college services, online resources, and community referrals, Counselors provide students with the support and guidance needed to ensure a healthy and enriching college experience.
