Laredo College (LC) students can serve as team leaders during the annual community-wide Make a Difference Day, partnering alongside Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) and The City of Laredo for local beautification and service projects.
Role of a Team Leader
- Guide Volunteers: Coordinate and lead groups of student volunteers during service initiatives.
- Project Execution: Oversee tasks like neighborhood cleanups, trail maintenance, or painting community spaces.
- Community Impact: Help support large-scale efforts such as improving public parks and local community centers.
- Leadership Growth: Build communication, public speaking, and team motivation skills
