Dissemination of Information
The responsibility of disseminating information through the various news media is assigned to the LCC Marketing and Public Relations Office. Public information services include press announcements, special events, advertising, community relations, organizational communications, internal communications and publications. Students desiring off-campus media publicity about their club activities should first consult with their club advisor. The Director of Student Life will confer with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations to determine if the request warrants publicity in the news media. If so, the Marketing and Public Relations staff will cooperate with students in planning the required news media coverage. Students should not contact the news media for coverage of college events without the approval of the Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
