Medical Billing and Coding Certification Program


This combined 120-hour billing and coding course offers the necessary training needed to help the healthcare facility manage insurance claims, invoices, and payments. The day-to-day work of a medical coding and billing specialist includes: properly coding services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments. Preparing and sending invoices or claims for payment are essential to hospitals, physicians’ offices, surgery centers, nursing homes, dental offices, home healthcare agencies, mental health facilities, insurance companies, and consulting firms. This rewarding field requires a high level of professionalism and dependability. This program meets the requirements to take the National Healthcareer Association -  Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) Exam.
