About
The Computer Sciences and Technology Department has been providing technology instruction to students of Laredo College and the surrounding community for over 45 years. Through the years the department has evolved and adapted to keep up with an ever-changing technology landscape.
Today, the department continues to thrive offering stackable certificates, occupational skills awards, and three separate associate degrees. The department also provides instruction to non-majors in the Laredo College core curriculum.
The over-arching goal of the department is to meet the technology needs of every student at Laredo College, while also preparing program graduates for immediate and successful entry into the workforce. Technology is changing the world, come join us in shaping the future.
